Falling in Love with Sharon Springs and The American Hotel
Marco and I were both living and working in Philadelphia when we met. Marco had moved from Thuringia, Germany and I had moved from Baltimore, Maryland. After more than a decade in Philadelphia, in late 2019, we moved to Lake Tranquility, NJ where we quickly grew accustomed to living in and loving a more rural setting surrounded by nature.

A New Chapter
It is a thrill to share some wonderful news: the American Hotel is now under the new ownership of Michael Palaia & Marco Braeutigam. It has been a distinct privilege to serve you for the past 24 seasons, to make such terrific friends, & to have created so many extraordinarily memorable experiences together, thank you.
